The Bit Squad - Font Chorlton - August 28 - Red Cardinal Music

The Bit Squad are back at Turing Tap on Thursday 26th September from 7pm-11pm with a Mario Kart N64 tournament.

The upstairs area of the venue will be taken over by a Free Play Zone set up with various consoles from your childhood including Sega Mega Drive, N64, Wii, Playstation 2 and more.

If there is a specific game that squad members would like to play, bringing your own console or games is welcomed.

Red Cardinal Music DJs will be playing music throughout the whole event, with a gaming tunes mixed in with anything from indie to hip hop.

The Bit Squad will have membership cards available to purchase for just £1. For every event at Turing Tap, this will give members a 15% discount off ALL drinks during the event!

The Bit Squad - Font Chorlton - 30 Oct 19 - Red Cardinal Music

By popular request, The Bit Squad are hosting a Goldeneye Tournament at The Font in Chorlton on Wednesday 30th October.

From 7pm until 11pm the back area of the venue will become a Free Play Zone featuring various retro gaming consoles including Sega Mega Drive, N64, Playstation 2 and more.

If there is a specific game that squad members would like to play, bringing your own console or games is welcomed. Requests for future tournaments are also taken into account when planning events!

Red Cardinal Music DJs will be playing music throughout the event, playing various genres from 80s synth to cheesy pop with gaming tunes mixed in.

Lifetime membership cards can be purchased on the night for £1 and card will entitle members to late night happy hour prices during the whole event.

Main Events - AEW Full Gear Viewing Party 2019 - Red Cardinal Music

After being the only promotion company in Manchester to show AEW’s first PPV live, Main Events are back for an AEW Full Gear Party at Turing Tap on Saturday 9th November.

The party will start at 8pm with various wrestling themed activities leading up to the Full Gear PPV. Before the live screening of the PPV there will be a chance to win “a little bit of the bubbly” through a wrestling quiz and wrestler entrance theme bingo.

The upstairs of the venue will be taken over by a Retro Wrestling Gaming Zone run by The Bit Squad including classic wrestling games from consoles such as N64, Sega Megadrive and XBox 360.

Main Events DJs will be playing a mix of wrestling theme songs, official PPV anthems and classic songs associated with the best wrestling promo packages in the lead up to the show.

Futureshock Wrestling will be invading the PPV screening with appearances from wrestlers and giveaways throughout the night.

The event is sponsored by Liverpool based, vegan friendly microbrewery Top Rope Brewing. From the Papa Mango to the Cold Stone Cream Austin, all of their beers are inspired by wrestling. Top Rope Brewing will be hosting a tap takeover of the venue in the week leading up to the event and will be contributing prizes throughout the night.

Food will be served throughout the night with exclusive Wrestling Event offers on pub favourites such as burgers, nachos, chicken wings and mac and cheese.

Red Cardinal Music Freshers Fair 2019 - Font Manchester - Red Cardinal Music

Freshers Week is one of the most exciting weeks of the academic calendar, especially for brand new students moving to the city! Red Cardinal Music will be hosting Manchester’s Alternative Freshers Fair at Font on Wednesday 18th September.

The event will help freshers, and those who want to learn more about the rock and metal scene, to find out about Manchester’s best alternative clothing brands, tattoo artists, clubnights, live gig promoters and more.

Exhibitors include Deadbolt Club, Almost Famous GN, Polefire, Whistle Punks Urban Axe Throwing, ZERO CLUB, Bad Luck Clothing, ShinDigger Brewing Co., Futureshock Wrestling, The Bit Squad, Manchester Anime Con, Jump The Shark, Siren Asylum, Main Events, LGBT Foundation, Studio IX Tattoo, Fireball UK, OLD YOUTH ,Below The Bridge, Dungeons & Flagons Games Night, Jimmy’s, PurpleSharks, Doughnut Daze, Night & Day Cafe, SoapyJ, Night People & The Twisted Wheel Club, Turing Tap and Bad Hair Dayz.

Red Cardinal Music DJs will be playing a mix of rock, alternative, metal and emo throughout the day whilst people shop, try their hand at pole fitness and check out upcoming gigs.

The event will be free entry and will run from 12pm until 5pm. Font will be serving food all day and their usual array of tasty cocktails alongside exclusive cocktails mixed up with Fireball.

Manchester based Main Events will be hosting a Summerslam Viewing Party at The Footage on Sunday 11^th August.

The party will start at 8pm with various activities leading up to the Summerslam preshow. Before the live viewing begins there will be a wrestling themed quiz for fans to test their knowledge. Also included in the ticket is a chance to win prizes for music bingo with a twist using wrestlers’ entrance songs.
