Venatici release a stripped version of Who I’ll Be

Venatici Who I'll Be Stripped - Red Cardinal Music

As a gift to fans that have supported them during their first full year as a band, Venatici have released a stripped version of their single “Who I’ll Be”.

The original version of Who I’ll Be was released in March 2018 to a fantastic reception – including praise of Alex Baker of Kerrang!

Zak Rothwell, guitarist of Venatici, explained: “Who I’ll Be is about the moment when you accept the person you are, flaws and all. It’s about the ugly truth that depression can feel like an endless spiral into the worst places imaginable. But it’s about how accepting how you feel can stop it from consuming you, instead acting as a reason to get better. I wanted to convey how it felt to finally realise that while it doesn’t make you who you are, you can expend so much energy convincing yourself that depression isn’t part of you. Accepting it helps you realise the steps you need to take the walk the path of recovery.”

The stripped version of “Who I’ll Be” is available to stream/download from their Spotify, iTunes, Amazon Music, Soundcloud and Bandcamp.

Venatici will be releasing brand new tracks and looking at touring the UK in 2o19.
