After gaining a cult following despite a small fortnightly Wednesday slot, Jump The Shark Quiz Nights is moving to Mondays at The Thirsty Scholar with a weekly slot and a new format.
Previously, the event had run between 6pm and 9pm on a fortnightly basis and only featured 5 rounds but the new format allows for a whole night of pop culture quiz party games.
Jump The Shark is a quiz event firmly rooted in pop culture, whether it be a certain genre of movie, a musical movement or a TV series with a cult following.
The new format allows new rounds including visual rounds and further interactive rounds which stand Jump The Shark apart from it’s competition. Where other quiz nights stick with the tried-and-tested format of pub quizzes, Jump The Shark likes to keep the event upbeat and more like a party with a quiz involved than a quiz outright.
The new format debuts on Monday September 16th at The Thirsty Scholar, and will be every Monday following until early December.
The price to enter any Jump The Shark quiz is £1 per person, with prizes for each quiz varying in value and style each time.
